The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is a member-supported organization dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Since its launch in 2003, IxDA has grown into a global network of more than 70,000 members and over 173 local groups, focusing on interaction design issues for the practitioner, no matter their level of experience.
The International Digital Media and Arts Association (iDMAa) was founded in early 2004 by a group of 15 universities. iDMAa is dedicated to serving educators, practitioners, scholars, and organizations with interests in digital media.

SIGCHI is the premier international society for professionals, academics and students who are interested in human-technology and human-computer interaction (HCI).
